If you already have Cricut Design Studio installed, uninstall it first. Then download and install the file below, which is the correct version of Cricut Design Studio you need. MAKE SURE you install the version from this link, as different versions contain different firmware updates:
If your Cricut didn't update to a compatible version, repeat the update process by going to HELP > Update Cricut Firmware. Some customers have to do this several times before the update is applied. After each update attempt, be sure to turn your Cricut off and back on, and restart your computer to refresh your settings.
